Well, what a crazy few months it has been for our Upper Seniors and Sixth form as today, Felix became the last student to complete the last exam and have his official last day of school!
Huge congratulations to all of our students who have worked so hard on their GCSE, BTEC and A Level exams – your dedication has not gone unnoticed and we’re all really proud of you.
Some fun statistics for you …
This year, we had 39 external examinations
- 18 GCSE papers
- 21 A Level papers
That’s almost one exam every day for five weeks.
Total exam time across all papers:
4,665 minutes
That’s:
- 77 hours 45 minutes
- 3 days, 5 hours and 45 minutes of continuous examination
In other words, if a student sat every paper back-to-back, they’d emerge sometime around Thursday lunchtime.
